eBooks

Downloading and Viewing:
Make sure you have the latest version of Adobe Acrobat or Reader Installed (free download at www.Adobe.com)
Once Adobe Acrobat or Reader is installed, you will need to download the FileOpen plugin. You can do so by going to www.FileOpen.com - More Info Below
It is recommended that you use Firefox or Internet Explorer to download
Review all security systems (their own computer system and the ISP) to insure content is not being blocked.
You will be asked to enter a username and password when viewing your ebooks. This is the same username and password you use to login to the Sound Concepts website.

I get a blank screen when I try to view my eBook, what do I do?

Most commonly this means you have not installed or successfully installed the FileOpen plugin. Try installing it again and/or restart your computer if you have not already done so.

MAC USERS:
By default PDF files will try to open with a program called "Preview" that comes standard with all MACs. To get around this you simply download the file to your desktop. Make sure you've installed Adobe Acrobat or Reader (free download at www.Adobe.com). Then right click the file, select "Open With", and then select Adobe Reader or Acrobat depending on which program you have installed. Once you have the FileOpen plugin installed to Adobe Acrobat or Reader you will then be asked to enter your password and should then able to view your ebook.

I'm getting a message that says "Error 5", what do I do?

If you receive an error message labeled “Error 5,” while installing the FileOpen plugin then you will be unable to download the installer until you get rights to download from your network administrator.
